The shop
Alhaurín Furniture Emporium in Alhaurín el Grande is two shops under one roof: La Boutique, full of second-hand and vintage finds, and La Galería, with mid-century design pieces. Since 2014, the shop has been giving character-rich furniture a second life.
Before the rebrand, the brand was a printed sign on the garage door. A lovely shop, but from the outside you'd never guess how special it is inside. The goal: one brand that welcomes both collections, with an eclectic, retro feel that matches the shop itself.

The brand identity
The branding includes a heritage-inspired badge logo and a typographic system that combines a bold retro display (Yeseva One), an elegant condensed serif (Cinzel) and a warm body font (Lora). The palette has six colours rooted in mustard, terracotta and teal: Forest Velvet, Heirloom Mustard, Patina Teal, Sage Mist, Vintage Linen and Terracotta Tile.
The logo system has a version for every place it lives: the full badge, a standard logo, a text-only version, an AF monogram for small spaces like the favicon, and an illustrated badge of Aymerick, the face behind every find, for marketing and the website.

The Squarespace webshop
I designed and built a Squarespace e-commerce shop with both collections, La Boutique and La Galería. Customers can browse and buy online, offer their own furniture to the shop, or book a visit. Take a look at alhaurinfurniture.es.

The brand shoot
To fill the website and socials, we did a brand shoot in the shop itself: every piece photographed in its own light, from mid-century chairs in La Galería to the vintage cabinets in La Boutique.
